The Conclusion: Just like going to the gym or eating healthily, English practice is a habit. When you say to yourself: I am an active person, or I am an English speaker, you are training your subconscious mind to believe that the behaviour you want to do (practise English) is a part of your identity, therefore you have more chance of doing it for a long period of time. This provides the proof or evidence that you need to reinforce the behaviour and the identity, which further shows that you are the type of person who can practise English for ten minutes every day because you are an English speaker, therefore it is something that you naturally do because it is a part of who you are. So, if you really want to improve your English, stop saying: "I want to speak English", and begin saying: "I am an English speaker." You just need to start... TIPS
